"Oh, very well," he says with another dramatic sigh, sitting up at the table again properly and crossing his hands in front of him. "Leave Skyquake and Thundercracker in command with a reasonable force of vehicons at their disposal and let Soundwave figure out the rest of the logistics as far as what resources they need. That's his job anyway." He looks almost comically bored.

That was part of his problem, really, when it came to his desire to lead. Half the time he just wanted to have all the clout and the respect without really doing any of the work for it aside from occasionally bossing other people around. Except when someone else was making the tough calls, and then he was convinced that they were making all of the wrong ones and certainly he could do much better. Frankly he didn't see the problem with this attitude, either. He reaches for the Engex bottle and cracks the top off of it with a quick twist, his lazy gaze still locked on Megatron.

"That's my recommendation. Anything else can wait until we've both had due time to celebrate as a reward for our good work, as far as I'm concerned." There was a bit of prickliness to that last statement, but it was of the sort that anyone who was familiar with Starscream would just come to expect from him on a regular basis, even in his best of moods.
